A wonderful week spent here with gites exceeding our expectations, superb pool and the added attraction of the river and boat. A totally relaxing time, excellent for group booking and enjoyed by all 14 of us; (Tarlton Group, Salisbury July 07)

We have had a lovely time in your really comfortable roomy gite. Beautiful garden and a great pool which the boys loved; thank you so much for taking so much trouble to make sure our disabled son was accommodated comfortably….the gite had enough room to swing a wheelchair!
We came here because of the facilities for wheelchair users and there has been plenty of room but we have been introduced to a lovely part of France. I have particularly enjoyed the Romanesque churches and hope we will have chance to come back soon. (Higham family, Cambridge, August 07)

We have had a truly wonderful time in this beautiful gite. The girls loved the pool and it has been so relaxing here. The expedition on the boat was magical, we have never heard our 2 so quiet and it was fantastic to see all the wildlife. (Harken Family August 07)
The idyllic setting here has been fantastic for our reunion. We are all very impressed with the high standard of this beautiful gîte and have enjoyed a wonderful time in and around the lovely swimming pool. Our unforgettable “5 men in a boat” trip was side splitting on a quieter trip we have seen kingfishers and coypu and we have enjoyed awakening to the magical sound of birdsong. As country people we have found the whole experience brilliant. Your hospitality and help has been the icing on the cake.

It is with great pleasure to write that all 13 of us had the most wonderful time at your gîtes. The children had the holiday of their lives and the grownups could feel like children again in a setting more beautiful and romantic than we could have imagined. Graham and Catherine were the perfect hosts. They have created a little paradise for the few lucky people who have found this spot in France. We in South Africa, USA and Holland will spread the word only to our best of friends.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. Graham and Catherine have been excellent hosts. Thank you for the plums, courgettes, figs etc;! With our friends next door we have ventured on the river/boat in the field and poplar plantations. We have seen Golden Orioles, Hoopoes, herons and Harriers. Our children have spent day after day entertained in the excellent pool and games room. La Rochelle and the nearby beaches were well worth a visit as were the markets in Aulnay and St Jean d’Angely. A very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful setting, the gîtes are the best we have stayed in in over 10 years of holidays in France

Fantastic location, so much to do locally particularly if you enjoy cycling or boating on the river, so that you can avoid the car! We have all loved the pool and the games room. One pair of grandparents, two sets of parents and 5 grandchildren all voted it “the best yet”.
