Games
If you wish to get out of the sun, or to engage in activities after supper, there is spacious games room in a converted barn; a table tennis table and table football are provided. You might even wish to consider an energetic game of indoor cricket!
For the little ones there are swings and a sand pit.
Sets of Boules (Petanque) are provided to enable you to hone your skills at this most traditional of French sports.

The Pool
Whether you wish simply to relax or engage in more vigorous exploits you will be delighted by the 12x6m heated pool, set in colourful landscaped gardens.
|
Woodland Walks
You may wish to wander the 5km of trimmed paths along the riverbank in the poplar plantation amongst the flowers. Try to spot nightingales, golden orioles, kingfishers and many other birds while picnicking at one of the shady picnic areas.

A Boat Trip
Everyone enjoys their expedition on the river in our boat, finding navigation a challenge but discovering the rewards of being surrounded by nature with its sights, smells and birdsong. A very pleasant experience on warm summer's evenings!

A Little Fishing?
The river Boutonne is classified as an "A" waterway, (capable of supporting trout and salmon!). While these species may be very hard to come across even though the river is stocked with trout every year, there are other "coarse" species which may be attractive to the angling enthusiast subject to season (March - September) and the requisite permit is available at the newspaper shop in Aulnay or at the fishing tackle shop in St Jean d’Angely.
